Asterisques*®,  (Pronounced: asterisks like the symbol on the typewriter) is Hampton Road's only full service fine cubic zirconia jewelry store. We opened in October of 1990.   

October 2007 marked our 17th year in business. During that time we set ourselves apart by offering the finest man-made cubic zirconia set in 14kt gold, as well as a variety of guaranteed gold-filled and gold overlay jewelry. We also offer a wide variety of man-made gemstones in addition to jewelry repairs and custom-made pieces. 

We are proudly a mom and pop operation working a six-day week, and bucking the tide of the mega-store.   

When we started our business we expected that our customers would be people who couldn't afford real diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires. Instead, the opposite has been the case. People who have expensive fine jewelry, and are burdened by the cost of insuring it have flocked to our store. Quite simply, they're no longer interested in spending thousands of dollars for every new piece. 

Instead, they come to Asterisques*®, where they can buy beautiful jewelry for hundreds of dollars instead of thousands! 

And no one can tell the difference!   

But, there has been a catch. Because our jewelry does its job so well, many of our satisfied customers won't share the secret of Asterisques*® with their friends or family. 

It's been an interesting problem that we've learned to live with - lots of satisfied customers but very little word of mouth advertising. That's one of the reasons we've created this web site. 

Fortunately, some customers have share the secret, and our cubic zirconia jewelry continues to become more and more popular. We are proud to be able to supply the residents of Hampton Roads with our special variety of man-made gemstone jewelry as well as the finest service to go along with it.
